Tired of the daily hustle and bustle of the city, I suggested to Mark that we look for a quiet holiday destination where we could enjoy a relaxed, comfortable and family atmosphere where we could enjoy a well-deserved rest with our daughter. 

I had no doubts. I wanted to go to the Canary Islands. It was simple. We both agreed that Tenerife was the best option. A wonderful place with a spectacular climate, so we could enjoy the sun and the calm that the island offers. 

The next step was to look for a hotel, and we were clear that our idea was that Olivia could enjoy activities and fun, and we could enjoy comfort and tranquillity. 

It was simple, we just put "hotel for family trips to Tenerife" in Google and... voilà! HD Parque Cristobal Tenerife had become our destination without a doubt. When we visited their website we were delighted. It was what we were looking for.

When we arrived we were fascinated with the welcome: the staff was very friendly and kind. They showed us the location of our Villa Emblem and... it was incredible to see that what we had seen on the web, corresponded to what we were seeing. Olivia was delighted with her room, we were delighted with ours and above all with the wonderful terrace with jacuzzi and with the tranquillity that we breathed. 

Olivia didn't have time to go to the pool slide and get involved in activities with the other children and entertainers and Mark couldn't get out of the jacuzzi.

On one of the days we convinced Olivia, who didn't want to leave the hotel, to rent us a car and go to visit the Cliffs of the Giants, a real spectacle, because the visit to the Teide National Park was out of the question. That is from another planet. Simply incredible.

We could not have chosen a better destination. We were delighted with everything, with the gastronomic offer, the service, the activities, the accommodation and the tranquillity and calm that this wonderful hotel and this incredible island gave us. 

Next year we will be back for sure, and we will bring our grandparents because we are sure they will love it as much or even more than we did.
